Mediators supply the Dispute Resolution Commission with information about their education, dispute resolution training, professional experience, and character. The Commission reviews, but does not routinely verify information supplied by mediators for posting on the Commission's web site. The Commission conducts only cursory background checks on mediators. The Commission recommends that attorneys and parties contact mediators directly to review their qualifications with them.
