                                MOTIONS FOR CONTINUANCES

Any motion to continue a case from the trial calendar shall be in writing on the approved
 form (AOC-CV-221) and presented to the Senior Resident Superior Court Judge, Honorable
    Theodore W. McEntire, C/O Ms. Kristi Burleson-DeHart, Superior Court Trial Court
 Assistant, Yancey County Courthouse, 110 Town Square, Suite 13, Burnsville, NC 28714.
  Motions to Continue a case must be received by U.S. mail, hand delivery, or email at
least ten (10) days prior to the first day of each session of court. For prompt decision
   and return, a self-addressed stamped envelope must be enclosed with the motion to
    continue. ______________________________________________________________________
                    IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ORDERS AND JUDGMENTS

    The movant should submit the appropriate order or judgment for the trial judges
                         signature before the end of the week.
